Bloomsburg Area Middle School

Bloomsburg Area Middle School is a public institution located at 1100 Railroad Street, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, serving students in grades 6 through 8. The school is part of the Bloomsburg Area School District, which encompasses the Town of Bloomsburg and surrounding townships in Columbia County.

The school's mission is to prepare its students to become contributing, responsible citizens and lifelong learners capable of adapting and succeeding in a competitive world.

In terms of extracurricular activities, The school offers a range of extracurricular activities, including a Gifted & Talented program and participation in five sports. The school's athletic teams, known as the Panthers, compete in sports such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field, and wrestling for boys; and basketball, cross country, field hockey, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, and track and field for girls.

Additionally, students have opportunities to engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics STEM projects through new course offerings that align with high school curricula.
